Technology Advances in Parkinson's Disease
Join the VCU Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center (PMDC) for a conversation and audience Q&A with a panel of specialists whose research and clinical expertise focus on movement disorders. The session will be moderated by exercise and wellness advocates from Power Over Parkinson’s and Brian Berman, M.D., director of the VCU Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Center.

Scientists continue working aggressively toward next-generation therapies to treat Parkinson’s. As a result, a number of technological advances are now available to help with diagnosis and understanding of Parkinson's Disease and aid in the treatment and management of patient’s motor symptoms. Our experts will provide an overview of the latest technologies for the Parkinson’s community including: robotic-assist gait training/Keeogo Exoskeleton Device, eye tracking diagnostics, vibration therapy and virtual reality. You will have the chance to talk with our panelists about recent advances in research with these therapies as well as who should consider these options.
